I have been wanting to try some blackout energy saving curtains for a while and was excited to be able to test these and do a review on them. I sometimes work at night and use a mask to sleep during the day to help block out the light so my brain thinks it is night time. The only draw back to these is that they let some light in where the curtains meet together in the center. I don't think it is the just these curtains though, most all curtains that I have ever used has the same issue. There is some light on the side that bleeds out a little as well but that can be fixed by installing the curtains out on the side further than I have them.
The Curtains are very soft and almost a silky feeling. They are 100% Polyester and are well made, the stitching looks sold and not cheap. They are a durable fabric that is easy to hang as well, they are not stiff and look very nice. I would recommend these drapes if you need to block out light, noise or the heat and cold.
