The Check Kindle Edition by Clair Wm. Harmony Review

Ok, when I was asked to review this book I didn't know what to expect.  I wasn't expected to read the book in one sitting and find myself wishing I could read faster.  From the very first chapter is hooks you into the story line and you are just trying to read faster and faster to find out what in the world is going on and who is behind it all. I don't want to spoil it for any one by giving away to much but this book is a must read.  For the price he is selling it and the entertainment you will get out of it makes it an easy decision, you need this book in your collection.  The character development is great, the plot is nothing I have heard of before except the old robin hood type stories.  

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read, it is fairly easy to read and is great to pass a day or two if you are looking to relax with a good book.  Some reviewers talk about holes in the plot but I read a book fore enjoyment not to sit there and see how many mistakes the author made while writing it.  The only negative I have to say as others have mentioned is the cover of the book, please find a different cover that will do this book justice.  I was asked to review this book and I got it for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

BEAT by Jared Garrett Book Review

Dystopian books are one of my new favorite books to read lately and this is a nice twist on a genre that gets the same story copied and copied time after time.  I will try not to add any spoilers to this because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. 

At first it took me a while to get in to the book, the misspellings and odd words had me thrown off for a while.  After I realized the intentions of them it went a lot better.  I enjoyed the character development of  Nik, the main character.  He is a young teen that likes to push his luck for an Adrenalin fix when ever he can.  

I was very please at the story line and how it ended, it was well written and provided enough action and adventure to keep me interested in the book with a great twist to blow your mind away as well.  It was fast paced and if you can get past the different word spellings it goes fast and before you know it......You will have to read it and find out what happens, it is so worth the read and is a must for any YA, Dystopian fan.

Got Luck Book Review

When it comes to books I love everything that has to do with magic, fantasy, or mystery and this book has a little bit of everything for everyone.  I was surprised at the humor and the one liners in the book that kept me actually LOL IRL.

I don't want to give away any spoilers in this review just tell you how great the book is and that it is a must read. I was not able to point the book down from the beginning and stayed up late a few nights because I kept wanting to find out what happens next.  Great book for young adults and above, if you like Harry Dresden files (which I love) you will love this book.

You will defiantly want to go over the vocabulary at the beginning of the book to be able to pronounce the words and no more about what they are related to.  I have read some reviews of the book that said they couldn't pronounce the words or understand anything about some of the topics and such.  That is mainly from not reading everything in the front of the book.  They even have characters names how to pronounce them and phrases and commands, a great addition for a book like this to help readers understand the book better.

GhostSitter Book Review

I was originally going to have my 9 year old daughter read this and help me on the review since it is wrote for a younger audience. I was glad that she decided she didn't have the time to read it because it was a great book and would be loved by all ages.  I wasn't quite sure what to think from the title and the cover, I mean how can you babysit ghosts. 

I don't want to give away any spoilers in my review so I will try my best.  When I first started reading the book I was a little confused to whose point of view the book was being read from until I notices names at the tops of each chapter telling me whose point a view it was from.  That is just because I am a guy and just want to get to the meat of the book and skip past the details that help....you know like reading instructions.

For a shorter book there was a fair amount of character development in the book, more than I expected at least.  The chemistry between the two main characters is great, not ever knowing if they are going to end up as more than just friends.  One wanting to be more and the other not sure because of the social repercussions it would have. 

I was pleasantly surprised at how the babysitting aspect of the book played out and it didn't end up being to scary seeing how it is for younger kids in mid grade level.  Although there was a few times that I got goosebumps reading a few parts, but not to intense. 

I would highly recommend this book for anyone of all ages to read.  For adults or older kids it is fairly easy to read and I didn't want to put it down after the first few chapters.  I am glad I got this book for free in exchange for my honest review and opinion because it was a great read.  Dad's will love it as well because they can relate to the main characters father if they have daughters of their own....:"Justin Get away from my daughter"....LOL loved it.

Book Review of The Subtle Beauty (Crowns of the Twelve Book 1)

I wanted to like this book because I love to read and very seldom come across a book that I do not like or can't finish.  The book didn't make a lot of sense and lost me before I was halfway into it.  I wanted to stop reading after the first 20 pages but wanted to try to give the book the benefit of the doubt.  I ended up throwing in the towel shortly after being half way through the book.  I just could not get my brain to continue reading any longer.  I would not recommend this book unless you are wanting something to ready that might challenge your brain. I got this book for free for my honest opinion and review.

THE SORCERY CODE Book Review

(Caution some Spoilers)
The main character’s name is Blaise and he is an outcast from the Sorcerer's Council after the Council was responsible for his brothers death. He is dead set on making it so even the lowliest person in the kingdom will be able to do magic and help improve their lives. He set out to accomplish this by creating a magic artifact that would allow anyone to wield the magical powers that he is able to wield. The outcome of his project ended up being more complicated than he could have ever imagined. There was not an artifact in the middle of his room there was a completely Nude young women in the middle of his room where the artifact should have been.

The Sorcery Code is a great mash up of Magic and computer coding from my gatherings after reading this book over the weekend. My Family and I were going out of town and being the book junkie that I am, I needed to get a new book to read/Listen to for the drive to go see family. The first thing that caught my attention is how the sorcerers had to make cards that were basically a shorthand of the magic spell. They referred to this as “Coding” and it reminded me of website coding for making web pages

 I love fantasy and Sci-Fi books and this one had been on my list to read when I had finished a few other series on my wish list. I was able to get the #SorceryCode for free in exchange for my honest opinion, so I decided to move it to the front of my list for my weekend trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the story caught my attention and kept it up until the end of the book, leaving me wanting to hurry and get the second one to find out what was going to happen.

There could have been some more time spent on developing the characters a little more but over all it was not a complete downfall of the book. I imagine that in the 2nd book there will be some more character development to get to know them better. Gala after all was just created so there is not a lot to her character yet. I am excited to see how her magic progresses and expands and be able to see all the things she might be able to do.

Over all I am very happy with this book and the author's writing style. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great book that is not very hard to read. I used the narration on it so I could listen to it and drive at the same time. I personally love listening to books more than reading but then again I am always driving it seems so it makes it nice to be able to listen to books. I like many others have a hard time reading self published or low budget books so to speak. They are kinda like B Movies only worse. I was happy to say that this book didn't have that feel to it at all. The characters where well developed and didn't have any issues following the story line. 

I don't want to include any spoilers but I am excited to read more from this author and hope that you give this book a shot. I got an advanced copy for my review and it would be one that I would buy and hope they make an audio book on it as well.
