We have a bedroom in our basement that does't have windows large enough to escape from if we ever had a fire in our house.  That is not a fun thing to think about if you are sleeping in that room or have someone you love sleeping in that room.  It is on our list of things to do in our home renovations is to eventually add in the big windows to make it safe, but in the mean time what happens if there is ever a fire and the person in the basement has to escape.  I got offered to test this product a few weeks a go so I jumped at the chance to test it out and see what it or other products like it could do. 

This is a great idea, to be able to have something that is light weight and easy to use in case of fire.  You basically pop out the orange cap in the back to activate the filter, put the nose plug on and then bite down on the mouth guard and breath through it.  Sounds like a great system if you can remember to do that when things get tense in an actual fire.  The major draw back to this system is that it only lasts for 5 min.  If it takes you longer than 5 min to get out of your house you could be in trouble.  I would think that having a longer or bigger unit that would give you more breathing time would be worth the added bulk.  

After researching this product and others like it I found that this is a great product if you don't need more than 5 min of air and like how compact it is.  If you do happen to think you will need more than 5 min and are not to concerned about extra bulk there are others on amazon for less money that look to be great products with good reviews on them as well.  I plan on putting this item in my basement bedroom to be used in case of fire along with some heat resistant gloves and googles that would protect eyes as well.  I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review. 

Smarson 6-LED Wireless Energy Saving Motion Sensor Light Review

I have installed motion sensing lights all throughout my house because no one in the hose knows how to shut lights off.  I like things that turn on and off by them selves and this does just that.  I can put it where ever I need it and then it turns on and off all on its own.  It takes 3 AAA batteries and comes with instructions on how to use the device.  It is very light weight and the heaviest part of it is the magnet and the batteries once they are installed. The 6 LED lights are bright enough to let you do what ever you need to do but not to blindingly bright that you cant see where you going when it turns on.

The product itself seems well made, the plastic is not to heavy duty but not really cheap as well.   I am wanting to get a few more so I don't have to keep moving it to different locations.  I find that it works great in the laundry room, that way when you come in and your hands are full it will turn itself on and you don't have to worry about setting the basket down in order to turn the lights on.  I received this item in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

Over all I think this item or one similar should be in everyone's vehicle.  There are a lot of scary things in this world and one of them is the thought of being trapped in a car as it burns or sinks to the bottom of a river with no way to get out.  Granted these types of items are also good for other non life threatening emergence's as well.  The flash light and emergency flashing lights are also nice to have if you are broken down and need light to see what you are working on or to provide visibility to oncoming traffic to keep you safe while you are working.

The Item itself is well made and fits nicely into the palm of your hand.  It is well made and feels very durable.  I am looking at getting one of these for each of my vehicles.  I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.  

ChiroDoc - Breathable Mesh Cover and Ergonomic Orthopedic Memory Foam UltraCool Cushion Review

I work at a computer all day and my butt gets sore from sitting and have to get up every hour or so to help it so my butt doesn't fall asleep.  I have been wanting to try a seat cushion like this for awhile to see if it helped with my issue.  I have been using this for about a week now and it has helped me add a few hours on to when I have to get up and move to keep my butt awake.  You wouldn't think that would be a big deal but it ruins productivity if you have to get up every hour and interrupt what you are working on to go stretch so your butt doesn't fall asleep.

The memory foam is very responsive and bounces back after you get up from it.  The cover to the cushion comes with a zipper so you can wash it any time that you want to.  I have also noticed that it helps me be more aware of my posture when I am at my desk so that is also a plus.  The only draw back is that it slides forward a little when using it and has to be adjusted frequently.  It is not enough to be a deal breaker just a little minor annoyance.  I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

Luxury Bathtub Caddy Tray with Extending Sides review

I am giving this item 4 out of 5 stars because it doesn't work well with my tub.  The side of the tub that is up against the wall is not wide enough to have this sit with out having issues of it falling.  You would need 4-6 inches at least on both sides of the tub in order for it to sit and function properly.  The fact that it doesn't support mini tablets is a downside as well, you can get around that by putting something behind it that is sturdy but it would be nice if the brace was adjustable on the height.  Over all the quality of the unit is very nice, well built and sturdy.  

I wish I could use it in my tub because the idea of it is great and the fact that my tub is a little off is not there issue.  If you have  the space for it to fit on both sides I would defiantly get this.  I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

FreeLight Solar Powered Hanging Camping Light / Flash Light Review

I love anything solar and especially if it comes with its own battery backup to store the power it creates.  I am always looking for things that I can use to help in any event that might happen that would cause my family to loose power.  This is a great little unit because you can charge it up during the daytime and then use it at night.  Depending on the charge you can get 4-5 hours of straight usage out of it.

It is nice because it is not to bright that it will blind you but just enough light to let you see the things you need to see.  I love the fact that you can charge the battery pack without the light being attached, that way you don't have to worry about breaking the bulb or anything like that. The bulb comes with a loop you can use to hang it up or put around your wrist and use it like a lantern or flashlight.  I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
